Volvo Makes World's Most Ethical Companies List

The Ethisphere Institute, an organization that measures corporate ethical standards, has included Volvo on its 2017 World’s Most Ethical Companies list. Volvo is just one of four automakers to be a part of this year’s compilation, which is a huge honor for the Swedish manufacturer.

“I’m very proud that Volvo Cars has been recognised as one of the world’s most ethical companies,” said Håkan Samuelsson, President and CEO of Volvo Cars. “Responsible business is a fundamental part of Volvo Cars’ heritage, and engrained in our corporate culture. An ethical approach is not just the right thing to do, but it brings financial value too.”

A total of 124 companies were included on the 2017 World’s Most Ethical Companies list. Volvo earned its spot due to its excellent Compliance and Ethics Program. Designed to prevent and mitigate legal and ethical risks, the program covers everything from competition law and corruption to human rights and data privacy. Additionally, the company also offers a leadership training program for managers with a focus on ethical business practices.

Volvo is a company that is committed to promoting ethical business practices and producing high-quality vehicles. Stop by Volvo Cars of Phoenix today to view our inventory and discover why our cars and SUVs are leaders in their segments.
